I received my training to teach English as a Foreign Language—EFL/ESL—at the Berlitz School of Languages in Montreal, Canada having moved there from Britain via Bermuda. After a period of three years teaching at the Berlitz School in Montreal, I returned to Bermuda where I subsequently organised and set up the full-time EFL programme at the Bermuda College where I was the Tutor/Co-ordinator for nine and a half years.
During my EFL teaching career I have enjoyed teaching at all levels, from total non-speakers of English to those whose English is very advanced. I have prepared students for the University of Cambridge Examinations at First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency Levels.
